Creating successful luxury interiors for care and retirement properties requires a special skill set. “In terms of aesthetics we’re considering high end residential and hotel design,” said Jen Bernard, managing director of care interior design specialist Bernard Interiors. “We’re also considering care and retirement sector specific regulations, requirements and research. It takes a high level of innovative thinking and insight to create and deliver design-led interiors which seamlessly incorporate the practical considerations.
