FF&E Designer Miri is Awarded ‘Outstanding Graduate 2020/21′ by the British Academy of Interior Design

We are very pleased to share that our FF&E designer, Miri Peers, has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Graduate 2020/21’ Award by the British Academy of Interior Design. Miri originally worked in the fashion retail industry and completed her HND in Interior Design after deciding to change career and pursue her passion for interiors.

“Before joining Bernard Interiors I was working as a Visual Merchandiser whilst studying for my HND,” explained Miri. “Balancing work, life and study was challenging, but I really enjoyed learning more to support my creative nature, putting what I love into practice through numerous residential and commercial projects. I’ve now been at Bernard Interiors for 18 months and it’s been so exciting seeing schemes I have worked on actually come to life.. it makes the hard work all worth it!”

Jen Bernard, founder and MD of Bernard Interiors commented, “Miri has been a huge asset to the team since joining us in 2020 and she couldn’t be more deserving of this award. We are so proud – well done Miri!”
