Hadrian Healthcare Group to Open £13m Harrogate Care Home

Luxury elderly care developer and provider Hadrian Healthcare Group will open their newest care home, The Manor House Harrogate, in mid-November. The development represents an investment of over £13m. It will provide residential and dementia care.

Hadrian Healthcare has been a Bernard Interiors’ client for almost 10 years.

“We’re very proud to be working with Hadrian Healthcare and really value the relationship we have built over the years,” said Jen Bernard, founder and managing director of Bernard Interiors. “Their vision for the highest quality of elderly care and their exacting standards are reflected in the interior design. It’s exciting that The Manor House is about to be enjoyed as a real home now as the first residents move in soon. People in Harrogate expect the very best in terms of style, comfort and luxury. It’s the Mayfair of the north, and we’ve designed with that in mind throughout.”

The original grand Victorian house on the site was the first property to be developed on Cornwall Road, part of the prestigious Duchy Estate, in the 1890s. The unique gothic facade of that building has been retained. There are 87 large private rooms overlooking landscaped gardens. Facilities include a wellness lodge with hydrotherapy pool, hair and beauty salon, library areas, bowling green and an old-fashioned sweet shop which will sell everyday items such as greetings cards, newspapers and magazines. As well as the restaurant there is a garden café-bar where residents will be able to enjoy time with families and friends, and private dining rooms for special family occasions.
