Willow Burn Hospice provides symptom management, respite care, short breaks and end-of-life care to those with a life-limiting illness in an inviting, uplifting and comforting environment.
Facilities include a reception area and community café, six room in-patient unit, spa bathroom and family lounge. Each inpatient room has its own bathroom and private balcony with views to the stunning landscape surroundings.
The scheme is fresh and contemporary using light tones woods and soft colours against a neutral background with a calming theme throughout.
For the inpatient suites, Bernard Interiors worked with manufacturers to design bespoke furniture and fittings that are both clinically functional and decorative.
“Willow Burn has been purpose-built to reflect the comfort of being at home.”
“The design focuses on providing comfort, dignity, and serenity during a challenging time. By incorporating soft, calming colours, natural light, comfortable furnishings, and spaces for privacy and quiet reflection, the environment helps to reduce stress, anxiety, and discomfort.”
